1999 Double Bicep 
 
This photo was before I started training with the powerlifters. At this point I had been doing the standard bodybuilder type workouts. 
 
Shortly after I changed to a more powerlifting style workout and shoving even more food into my mouth and that is when I had a good growth spurt. 
 
My strength increased steadily and somewhat rapidly, the size followed.  
 
I also cut back my workouts from twice a day (overtraining) and was more serious with rest days and making sure the nuscles recovered.
